Scope :

Dialogic Provides Highly Skilled Personnel That Are Well Versed In Both Engineering And Installation Technology. The Dialogic PSE Group Work Closely With The Other Departments that Provide Traditional Support (Pre or Post Sales and Project Management to our Customers, Offering Several Vital Services such as:

Responsibilities :

1.1 New Project Deployment
Using Information Gathered By Project Management Group And The Network Design And Architecture Group The PSE Responsible Will Offers Several Vital Services Like:
• Detail Site Surveys of All Locations.
• Space Planning
• Detail Engineering and Installation Specifications Of – Transport / Facility Equipment,  Power Equipment, Common Systems / Ironwork
• Floor and Equipment Layouts
• Create Site and Equipment Specific Drawings - I.E. Floor Plan, Cable Rack, Ground, Ironwork, Lighting,
• Create Assignment Records - I.E. Dsx, Cable Running, BDFB/ PDB, Frame, Etc.
• Create Equipment Interconnect and Block Diagram Drawings
• Update of Customers Existing Records and Drawings
• Custom Assignment Drawing Templates (Visio)
• Equipment & Materials Consultation / Research
• Performing Customer Acceptance Testing
• Network Cutovers

1.2 On-site Customer Managed Service
The PSE position may be designated for Managed Service to Dialogic EMEA customers. Dialogic
Managed Services may include:
• Dedicated Onsite 8x5 work at Customer Facility on daily basis for 1 year term, or longer.
• Acting as Project technical lead for the Dialogic platform
• Managing all technical aspects of the Dialogic Products for the customer, including Control Switch and Media Gateways.
• Assisting or recommending with design and expansion plans
• Create Equipment Interconnect and Block Diagram Drawings
• Update of Customers Existing Records and Drawings
• Custom Assignment Drawing Templates (Visio)
• Performing Customer Acceptance Testing
• Managing Traffic Migrations and Network Cutovers
• Communication liaison between the Customer, Dialogic team (Sales, Engineering and Dialogic Project Management)
• Accommodate requests from the customer, demonstrations, informal training etc.
• Assisting with Technical Support Maintenance issues as needed.

1.3 Trials
Coordinating With Sales Engineering Team and the Project Management Team the PSE Team Will Offer the Following:
• Trial Test Plan Preparation
• Trial Test Platform Staging
• Coordinate Partner Solution Integration.
• Provide Basic Level Training (Unstructured) For the Solution
• Execution of Test Plan and Documenting the Results

1.4 Trade Show Demos
Coordinating With Marketing and Business Development Group the PSE Team Will Offer the Following Services:
• Coordination between Partners for Integrated Solutions
• Procuring the Required Equipment for the Demos
• Defining the Infrastructure Requirements (Power, IP, TDM Etc...)
• Setting up The Demo Platforms in the Trade Show Booth.
• Demonstrating the Solution to the Potential Customers.
• Shipping and Receiving Coordination.

1.5 Product Staging Support
Staging Is A Network Integration Service That Helps Reduce The Risk And Complexity Of Deploying Multi-Site Technologies By Staging Components Before Implementation. Staging Combines Technical Expertise, Consistent And Scalable Processes, And Superior Logistics To Pre-Configure And Test Each Component Before New Implementations Or Expansion Of Existing Networks.
Staging Services Focus On The Hardware, Firmware, And Software Components Of Network Infrastructure. Staging Assists Installers By Assuring Networking Components Arrive Preconfigured And Tested, Where And When You Need Them.

1.6 Technical Analysis
Before Products Enter The Staging Lab, A Staging Engineer Performs A High-Level, Pre-Integration Review. Specifications Such As
• Network Design (IP Address Schema, Naming Convention, Etc...)
• Product Functionality (Deployment Solution, Number of Elements to Be Staged, Etc...)
• Review and Research Configuration Parameters. (Any Custom Scripts to Be Loaded, Etc.) The Review Eliminates Potential Design Or Configuration Errors That Result In Costly Implementation Delays.

1.7 Documentation and Configuration Validation
Engineers Review Product Configurations, Pre-Installation Guides, Documentation and Labels for Validity. Check Records To Insure Proper Archiving And Apply Labels And Initials For Quality Control. This Step Verifies That Components Perform As Expected At The Time Of Cutover.

1.8 Component Audit, Assembly, Burn-In, and Test
The Following Activities Are Performed After Loading All The Software.
• Power Up and Run Equipment for 24 Hours.
• Hardware, Firmware, and Software Upgrades If Required
• Proper Labeling Of the Elements.
These Activities Dramatically Lower The Costs And Project Delays Associated With Dead-On-Arrival (DOA) Network Components.

1.9 Configuration and Testing
Staging Engineers Perform A Series Of Diagnostic Tests To Ensure That The Results Match The Criteria Outlined In The Statement Of Work (Sow). This Step Reduces Installation Time While Minimizing Workplace Disruption. These Tests Include:
• Verify Standard Configuration of Hardware, Firmware, and Software Components
• Activation of Network Management
• Verify IP Addresses, And Customer Specific Parameters.

Requirement :

  • The Ideal Candidate With A Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In Designing, Implementing And Supporting Voice Telephony Deployments (Traditional TDM And VoIP) With Both Vendor Experience And Service Provider Background. Must Have Experience In Class 4 & Class 5 Switching Environments And Strong Skills In Ss7, Isdn, TCP/IP And VoIP Protocols (Sip And H.323) Prior Switch Experience Highly Desired. Strong Customer Relations Skills Are Required Along With the Ability to Travel Extensively (<50%).
  • BS in Computer Science or Related Field or Equivalent Technical Training and Work Experience.
