Scope
:
This position will provide prospecting, technical sales and solution architecture in support of both traditional and new service provider accounts across the Middle East region in order to help fill a gap in knowledge and experience with these highly technical accounts. It will also help with training of outside and inside sales in order to better enable product knowledge and technical proficiency.
Responsibilities
:
- Act as the liaison between Dialogic (Field Application Engineering, Customer Service, Engineering, Test / Integration) and equivalent customer and partner organizations surrounding technical resolution to architecture, installation, configuration, management, and troubleshooting of Dialogic products and solutions.
- Assist in technical management of new business projects from conceptual stages, through pre-sales, sales, trials and training, and working with the sales account team during contract negotiations to ensure the technical feasibility and proper support internally from the company.
- Perform technical presentations for customers and prospects.
- Assist development of RFP/RFI/RFQ technical responses.
- Assist with the development of formal sales plans and proposals for assigned opportunities, including identifying prospects and creating technical engagement plans for same.
- Document customer requirements to manage customer and internal expectations.
- Educate the customer on new technologies.
- Keep up-to-date on relevant competitive solutions, products and services within the above markets.
- Document all activity in CRM systems, as appropriate.

40% Attend customer meetings (in person and via teleconference) & provide general sales support
40% Act as technical resource for Infrastructure and Enterprise product portfolio with prospective customers
10% Work with engineering and product management to architect and design requirements for new products
10% Assist with product training for customer sales force.
Requirement
:
Minimum Education:
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Math, or Science OR equivalent experience
Specialized Skills and Knowledge:
Must have:
- Five years or more of technical solution sales, preferably infrastructure and optimisation
- The ability to communicate, both written and verbally, technically advanced subjects with customers on all levels, from middle and senior management to programmers and operations personnel
- Experience with managing pilot evaluations and implementing software and hardware solutions
- Understanding of major software and hardware product issues (performance, scalability, automation, application integration)
- Strong problem solving skills: ability to assess a problem and determine an effective course of action
- Strong technical skills in TDM and IP network architectures
- Strong knowledge of VoIP Protocols; SIP, H323, RTP, TCP/IP
- Strong knowledge of video protocols: H.264, Flash, etc.
- Experience creating and presenting technical product overviews
- Experience dealing with customers, analyzing requirements and negotiating solutions
- Experience working on RFPs, RFQs, RFIs
Nice to have:
- Experience with Dialogic
- Application programming experience with proprietary and standards-based APIs, including web services, MSCML, CCxML, etc.
