Diva V-1PRI, Diva V-2PRI, Diva V-4PRI and Diva V-8PRI boards are available with PCIe bus. Up to the V-4PRI version the board is available in half size form factor. The V-8PRI board comes as full size PCIe board.

The Dialogic® Diva® V-1PRI ("Diva V-1PRI"), Dialogic® Diva® V-2PRI ("Diva V-2PRI"), Dialogic® Diva® V-4PRI ("Diva V-4PRI") and Dialogic® Diva® V-8PRI ("Diva V-8PRI") boards are exceptionally powerful PC-based telephony boards that provide rich media processing capabilities for up to 30/60/120/240 voice channels over E1 interfaces or up to 24/48/96/192 voice channels over T1 interfaces. They are an excellent choice for enterprises and service providers looking for a large-size unified messaging, analog modem, POS, RAS, fax, voice, speech, conferencing and monitoring/tapping (HiZ) platform that can easily be expanded to multiple boards per system.

Extremely powerful Digital Signal Processors (DSP) ensure real-time voice processing, reducing latency and improving overall system performance. The Diva V-1PRI, Diva V-2PRI, Diva V-4PRI and Diva V-8PRI enable both legacy and IP-based computer telephony (CTI) solutions, as well as leading-edge UM and voice business applications, such as voice portals and speech-enabled contact centers.

The Diva V-1PRI, Diva V-2PRI, Diva V-4PRI and Diva V-8PRI boards come with a feature pack suited for enhanced voice applications. In order to enable additional features, like modem or fax, separate licenses can be ordered.

The Diva V-1PRI board comes as a half size PCIe version.

The Diva V-2PRI board comes in two versions, a PCI and a PCIe version. The PCI version is full size form factor. The PCIe version is half size form factor.

The Diva V-4PRI board comes in 3 versions. The PCI version is full size form factor. There are two PCIe versions, a half length (12 DSPs) and a full size (24 DSPs) version.

The Diva V-8PRI board comes as a full size PCIe version.

  • The Dialogic® Diva® V-xPRI Media Boards are building blocks for enabling large-scale speech, Unified Messaging, fax, modem, RAS, POS and VoIP applications. Based on PCI and PCIe standards, each board provides connectivity to the telephony network via 1 (PCIe), 2 (PCI and PCIe) or 4 (PCI and PCIe) ISDN PRI, E1 or T1 interfaces.

Technology Brief

  • The Dialogic® Diva® Software Development Kit (Diva SDK) offers a powerful set of Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) that can be used for implementing telephony applications, that is, applications that accept and process phone calls.
  • To connect to the PSTN, Asterisk systems require a network interface board or a media gateway. Because most Dialogic® Diva® Media Boards have powerful Digital Signal Processors (DSPs) onboard and can move processor-intensive, low-level tasks to these DSPs, significant reductions in server CPU load are possible. Such reductions can positively impact overall performance and scalability in systems such as those using Asterisk software.
