I‑Gate 4000 Media Gateways can be controlled by the ControlSwitch System using MGCP, H.248/Megaco, or SIGTRAN. Through standards support, the I‑Gate 4000 Media Gateways enable carriers to deploy next-generation VoIP switching solutions for applications such as domestic and international long-distance services, wireline or wireless network tandem switching, Class 4 switch replacement, and PRI trunking.
