Executive Team

Nick Jensen

Nick Jensen has been President and CEO of Dialogic since April 2002 and serves as Chairman of Dialogic's Board of Directors. Jensen has 22 years of successful entrepreneurial experience. In 1987 he co-founded Exatec A/S, a Danish distributor of computer components and products that was sold to Arrow Electronics Inc. He then founded PnP Technology, a printer-interface company, and with a partner acquired i-data international a/s in 1998. Throughout his career, Jensen has been an active investor in IT companies, including Connect International (sold to Olicom A/S in 1992), Phase One Denmark A/S, Netlog A/S and Mermaid Technology A/S. Prior to beginning his career, Jensen concentrated on sales, marketing and finance during his studies.

Jean Gagnon, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Jean Gagnon

Jean Gagnon joined Dialogic in June of 2001, and was appointed Chief Financial Officer in May 2002. Gagnon brings more than 22 years of experience in finance, accounting, and information services to the management team. Prior to joining Dialogic, he served as Finance and Administration Director of Cenit America Inc./L&H Consultants, an international company providing technology services for the automotive and aerospace industries. During the previous eight years, he held various financial management positions with Guillevin International Inc. Other experience includes four years as Controller of Transport at W.J. Deans Inc. and an administrative management position with Hopital Notre-Dame de Montreal. Gagnon graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce in Public Accounting from H.E.C. Montreal, and holds a CGA, having finished among the top five candidates in three of four exams.

Anthony Housefather, Executive Vice President Corporate Affairs and General Counsel

Anthony Housefather

Anthony Housefather is responsible for all legal matters and all contractual relationships for Dialogic Corporation and its subsidiaries worldwide. He is also responsible for real estate and facilities and M&A activity. Housefather joined Dialogic in 1997 and has 13 years of experience in international commercial transactions, intellectual property licensing and management and litigation and employment issue management. He has also served as project manager for the integration of Dialogic's last three acquisitions, including its integration of Intel's media and signaling business and the integration of the Cantata business into Dialogic. Housefather has degrees in common and civil law from McGill University and an MBA degree from Concordia University.

Kevin Cook, Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales

Kevin Cook

Kevin Cook is Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales and leads Dialogic's sales, service and support departments. He is responsible for creating strategic and tactical plans that maximize growth and profitability and for accelerating the company's global expansion efforts. Kevin has extensive leadership experience in the communications industry and a broad background in senior level sales and channel management, business development and strategic and operational planning. Most recently, he served as Vice President, North America at Avaya Inc., where he directed a 1700 person organization that spanned sales, field marketing and support functions. Prior to that, he held senior level sales management positions at Lucent Technologies and AT&T. Kevin has degrees in Business Administration and Communications from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire and is a member of various professional organizations.

Franz-Josef Eberle, General Manager of the Enterprise Market Group

Franz Josef Eberle

Franz-Josef Eberle is Vice President and General Manager of the Enterprise Market Group. In this role he is responsible for the strategic and tactical plans to optimize Dialogic's core enterprise product lines for long-term success and to drive key initiatives such as gateway appliances and open source offerings. Prior to joining Dialogic, Mr. Eberle was in charge of Product Marketing and Business Support at Alcatel Carrier Networking Division, where he focused on the market introduction of next-generation IP-based voice and multimedia products. He began his career in the telecommunications industry with Tieto, a leading European software and IT services company. His industry experience includes software development and systems engineering with various telecommunications technologies, such as protocol test systems, SS7 public switching systems, ISDN terminals, and GSM mobile networks. Mr. Eberle holds a Masters Degree in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from Berufsakademie Ravensburg (University of Co-operative Education), Germany.

Harold Klett, General Manager of the Service Provider Market Group

Harold Klett

Harold Klett is Vice President and General Manager of the Service Provider Market Group. In this role, he is responsible for all aspects in the continued evolution of Dialogic's broad family of multimedia gateways, servers and platforms used to enable rich value added applications. Harold joined Dialogic with its acquisition of Cantata Technology and brings more than 15 years of experience developing, supporting and marketing industry-leading communications technologies. Prior to Dialogic, Harold held several senior positions with Excel Switching Corp and Lucent Technologies including Vice President of Worldwide Customer Support, Vice President of Engineering and Vice President of Product Management. He holds a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Connecticut School of Engineering.

George Kontopidis, Senior Vice President of Product Development

George Kontopidis

George Kontopidis is Senior Vice President of Product Development, responsible for the technical and engineering aspects of Dialogic products, with concetration in the Service Provider carrier grade products. He joined Dialogic with its acquisition of NMS Communications. During his nearly 20-year tenure with NMS, he participated in the architecture, design and implementation of many of the company’s flagship media and signaling products, helping NMS grow and compete globally. He has a passion for enabling technologies of mobile applications contributing to richer personal communications, person-to-machine interfacing and their worldwide use. George also taught engineering courses at the Harvard Extension School for 10 years. He has a degree in electrical and mechanical engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, and an MSEE in computer engineering and automatic control and a PhD in signal processing from the University of New Hampshire. He is an active member of various professional groups including IEEE, ACM, MIT Enterprise Forum, Tie Group and Mobile Mondays.

Noel Lappin, Senior Vice President, Operations

Noel Lappin

Noel Lappin joined Dialogic in June 1992 as Operations Manager for its European manufacturing and distribution operation, and shortly thereafter was promoted to General Manager of Dialogic's Irish subsidiaries. In July 2002 he was promoted to Vice President, Operations with worldwide responsibility for manufacturing, logistics and supply chain. Prior to joining Dialogic, Lappin was Operations Manager for Aval Corporation and also worked in various operational and manufacturing positions for the Irish operations of various multinational organizations. Lappin is a graduate of Dublin City University and the National College of Ireland and holds an honors degree in Business Studies and a diploma in personnel management.

Jim Machi, Senior Vice President, Marketing

Jim Machi

Jim Machi is Senior Vice President, Marketing, responsible for developing marketing strategy and driving marketing communications for Dialogic. He is also responsible for long term product planning and strategy for all Dialogic products. Machi joined the business in 1998 as Director of Product Management, working to develop the company's IP telephony roadmap and strategy and was recognized by Internet Telephony Magazine as one of the "Top 100 Voices of IP Communications" in October 2006, and by VoIP-News as one of the "50 most influential people in VoIP" in November, 2006. In February 2010, Dialogic became a founding member of the Video Convergence Forum and Machi is Co-Chair of Global Marketing. Machi holds an MBA from New York University's Stern School of Business and a BS in electrical engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.

Susan Maxwell, Chief Quality Officer

Susan Maxwell

Sue Maxwell is Chief Quality Officer responsible for driving leadership across the organization assuring that processes, metrics, and compliances are met. Formerly, she led sales operations and quality assurance for Cantata Technology as Vice President, Sales Operations and CQO. She has been pivotal in achieving excellence in quality assurance and customer support. Most recently, Ms. Maxwell worked in the Lucent Open Network Platforms group, where she was responsible for all aspects of quality management systems, customer support and satisfaction, and early field deployments of the Lucent Softswitch. Before joining Lucent, she was Vice President of Quality for the original Excel Switching Corporation, where she managed the ISO 9000 certification process. Previously, Ms. Maxwell was Director of Quality Assurance at The Timberland Company, establishing quality standards and managing customer returns and incoming inspection processes. As Director of Quality and Operations at Thinking Machines Corporation, designers of massively parallel supercomputers, she was responsible for manufacturing, operations, and quality assurance. Ms. Maxwell also held a variety of quality, reliability, and operations positions at Data General. She earned her bachelor's degree and Master of Industrial Engineering degree from the University of Wisconsin with a specialty in Human Factors Engineering.

Joe Mele, Vice President, Dialogic Media Labs

Joe Mele

Joe Mele is Vice President at Dialogic Media Labs, a unit of Dialogic Corporation that develops software to power the next generation of IP video applications. Joe joined Dialogic with its acquisition of OpenMediaLabs, where he had been Founder and CEO. Previously, Joe was the Co-Founder and CEO of elemedia, a start-up focused on multimedia software for IP networks. The elemedia team pioneered many of the technologies used today in Voice-over-IP and Video-over-IP networks. elemedia was acquired by Lucent Technologies, where Joe held executive positions including leadership roles for Lucent’s Softswitch program and Lucent’s Network Management Software business.

Rosanne Sargent, Senior Vice President of Human Resources

Rosanne Sargent

Rosanne Sargent is Senior Vice President of Human Resources, with worldwide responsibility for Dialogic’s people strategy and the implementation of the processes and systems that support our employees. Rosanne joined Dialogic after a distinguished 26 year career with AT&T, Inc as an HR professional and executive. Immediately prior to joining Dialogic, Rosanne served as Executive Director of Human Resources for AT&T’s Global Network Operations organization where she was responsible for providing strategic human resources support for over 20,000 people around the world. Rosanne earned her BS in Business Administration from Boston University and her MS in Management from Stevens Institute of Technology. Rosanne completed the HR Executive Program at the University of Michigan, holds a certificate in Human Resources from Rutgers University, and is affiliated with the Human Resources Planning Society.
