This week I'm attending Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, which is the largest annual mobile conference in the world.  In previous years it has been an amazingly busy and bustling event.  This year, given the global economic recession, I wasn't quite sure what to expect ....

No, it's not quite as extravagant as previous years.  But, I have been pleasantly surprised.  There is a good turnout, a strong exhibitor presence and positive energy throughout the show

The Dialogic booth is getting very strong, almost non-stop traffic.  It is nicely laid out showcasing several of our partners, who are demonstrating some very cool multimedia applications.  

Glenn Cash, from my team, is demonstrating advanced rate control algorithms that will help to improve video quality.  He has been extremely busy with practically no downtime.  I should probably give him a break...
