Early last week, I let you all know about the Dialogic Innovator  Challenge.   The news that we were giving away a $10,000 first prize to the developer who  creates the Ultimate Sports Application (based on video using Dialogic products),  sort of overshadowed the announcement that we now have an integration between the LumenVox Speech Engine and Release 2.1 of DiaStar. 

If you are building your Ultimate Sports Application using DiaStar, you now have the added advantage of being able to add ASR controls to your app without adding any real complexity to your task.

The command set is very basic. You can either read the menu options as shown on each menu, or you can say "Cancel" or "Main Menu" at any time. Saying "Cancel" at the Main Menu prompt will end the Demo. In addition, if you are at the Main Menu prompt, you can directly ask for the pitch you want and skip the sub-menus. For example, if you are at the Main Menu, you can say "Knuckle Curve Ball" and you will immediately see the Knuckle Curve Ball instructions, rather than having to ask for "Knuckle Ball" at the Main Menu and then "Knuckle Curve Ball" at the sub menu.
