Problem with audibility

  • Hi,

    Recently we started receiving  complaints from one of our customers that they have sporadic audibility problems during phone conversation.
    This customer has installation of HMP 3.0 SU375 on Windows Server 2012. The problem with audibility occurs every 2-3 months and we have to restart HMP software to get rid of it.

    When it occurs, we see the following messages in RTF logs:

    gc_h3r   ERR1     sip_caps.cpp:1184     !    29 ! SIP_Caps::getTxRxFPP() - Tx ptime match not found, remote rx fpp=20, local max rx fpp=0, force tx fpp=0
    gc_h3r   ERR1     sip_caps.cpp:1194     !    29 ! SIP_Caps::getTxRxFPP() - Rx ptime match not found, local max rx =0, answer=0

    I'd like to know what's the possible reason of such "behavior".

    Boris.

  • Hi Boris,

    Unfortunately, its hard to say if the above prints would cause audio problem or not. We need to see full RTF logs and wireshark of the problem calls at that time to make a determination on the cause. I had seen the above print before though even in good known working cases as well, so it might not be applicable. I would suggest to open a ticket with dialogic services support team if you have aforementioned logs available for review. Also, you would need to make sure the site has SLA (VPUP) tied to the currently running HMP license in order to received support along those lines.

    Regards,

    Jeff M.

  • Hi Jeff,

    Thanks a lot for your answer.

    Boris.
