We have the Brooktrout TR1034 product installed and running with our costumer for years. now, after the server was formatted and the product was reinstalled, we are getting the APIERR_INSUFF_BUFFER error (Misc error: Buffer size too small to receive data. (18) )
here is the relevant part of the log:
05/13 04:46:07.19 1[2,3] BfvCallSetup: Return (res.status=2,res.line_status=18)
05/13 04:46:07.19 1[2,3] BfvLineOriginateCall: Return (cause_code=0, subcause=0, location=0, transport=-858993460,res.status=2,res.line_status=18)
Brooktrout TRxSTram Board (driver version 22.214.171.124)
Product : TR1034
OS Properties: Windows server 2008 r2 64bit (16GB RAM)
since the hardware and our software were not changed, this is likely a configuration issue.
please advise on possible reasons and sollutions for the error.
Hello. For something like this, you should enter a Support ticket to firstname.lastname@example.org. You should send in debug logs and ECC logs as part of this. Offhand, this issue does look to me like something with the application since when BfvLineOriginateCall returns it shows a nonsensical transport value. That value can only ever be 0, 1, 2, or 3. So this may indicate an argument structure was not cleared out prior to use.
