Hi,

I am using a hybrid media gateway DMG 4000 series which I have upgraded to OCS R2. The gateway was working earlier with OCS R1 but after reinstalling the 64-bit OS and the 64-bit DIVA software and configuring the gateway in same manner the incoming calls are not working however outgoing is happening. please suggest where I can check...

Did you do the upgrade with the DMG4000 SU3 USB Upgrade kit?

I did the reinstallation as the earlier OS and Diva software was 32-bit. I have formatted the mediation server on the gateway and installed win 2008 server and then installed OCS R2 Mediation server. i had downloaded the 64-bit Diva software and installed it for the gateway configuration.

I have a PRI line directly terminated on this gateway which is having a number 4507700. last three digits are DID extentions which are available from 700 to 999. I have created the Address Maps, screen shot attached, please have a look if its correct.......

Christian please suggest the work around for this, I need the calls to directly land on the OCS extns. It was working earlier with the same configuration but after the upgrade its not.

Hello pravin,

we need to know where the inbound calls fail. They could either be rejected by the DMG itself or be not accepted by OCS R2 (e.g. because of an incorrect number format).

Please be so kind and pull a Diva trace of a failed inbound call (with SIPcontrol debug settings set to "Extended") and post it here; optimally together with the configuration as shown after selecting "Show configuration" in the SIPcontrol configuration. If you are unsure about how to do this, check http://www.dialogic.com/support/helpweb/divasvr/tracing.aspx.

But remember that  a trace or the configuration may contain sensitive data (e.g. IP adresses or SIP account settings). If you do not want to disclosure this, please contact Dialogic support instead for private and confidential help.

BTW, when configuring the dialplan, the "Base Number" setting should not include the DID extension digits.

Thank you

Another question : we had some DMG from OCS R1 TAP program. Is there anything to check to be sure that the upgrade will apply ? (maybe it's pre release DMG ?)

There are no expected issues when updating any of the DMG4000s we have produced, there has only ever been one hardware platform so the upgrade should go fine.
