Hello.

have a Siemens HiPath 4000 V4 and a DMG2000 connected via an E1, routing a range of extensions to my Lync server. The setup is working beautifully except for one nagging detail - when calling a number routed to Lync from a digital extension, the B party name does not show on the Siemens desk phone, but rather the name of the E1 trunk towards the DMG, which shows as DIALOGIC. The reverse works well, with A party (on Lync) name showing on the B party screen.

Between two Siemens PABXs the called name shows as IP TRUNK for a second and then changes to the name configured on the remote PABX - sufficient signaling going possible, but I don't know if this can be done with Lync and the DMG.

I wonder if any here have had experience with this. Appreciate your input.

Can you post a trace showing the issue? Enabled voip-prot, voip-code, teldrv-all, tel-event, tel-code, pbn-code, gw-code, and routetable-all. Attach the trace as well as your config.ini file. Maybe we will see something going on in the trace that will help determine whats going on. It could be that we are getting the correct layer 3 message from the PBX but are not parsing it...or something along those lines.

I'd like to see what the PBX is sending us and when.

Thanks!

Dave
