Dialogic Corporation to Present on IVVR and the Video-Enabled Contact Center at UC Expo 2010

Tuesday, March 9, 2010

WHO: Two representatives from Dialogic Corporation, a global provider of world-class products and technologies for multimedia and signal processing, will be presenting at UC Expo 2010.

Jeff Dworkin, enterprise marketing manager at Dialogic, is a recognized pioneer in the voice processing and Internet Telephony industries. As co-founder of Interface Alternative (later renamed iFace.com) in 1992, he implemented some of the first commercial grade IVR systems that included speech recognition, speaker verification and text-to-speech systems for use across numerous vertical industries.

Antony Martin is director of open source engineering at Dialogic. He has been involved in the telecommunications industry for over 20 years with experience ranging from PBX hardware and embedded software to IVR, call center and unified messaging software and systems.

WHAT: Jeff Dworkin will be presenting on "IVVR and the Video-Enabled Contact Center, New Opportunities for the Asterisk/Open Source Telephony Developer to Deliver Value to their Customers - Part I." This presentation will show where the proper application of video can actually increase customer satisfaction, reduce costs and/or increase sales for the enterprise when used as part of an Interactive Voice/Video Response system or when implemented as part of a video-enabled contact center.

Antony Martin's session, "IVVR and the Video-Enabled Contact Center, New Opportunities for the Asterisk/Open Source Telephony Developer to Deliver Value to their Customers - Part II," will include a demonstration of the video capabilities of Dialogic's latest release of the DiaStarTM Server. This presentation will focus on converting a poorly implemented Interactive Voice Response system into an easy to use, Interactive Voice and Video Response system that overcomes the inherent limitations of the IVR system.

WHERE: UC Expo will take place at the Olympia Exhibition Centre located on Hammersmith Road in London. Both presentations will take place in the Digium Asterisk World Theatre. Dialogic will also be exhibiting in Booth 204 at the show.

WHEN: Jeff Dworkin's session will take place on Wednesday, March 10th from 2:30 - 3:00pm. Antony's session will be held on Thursday, March 11th from 1:50 - 2:20pm.
