ADG LDI (Pvt.) Ltd replaces Cisco PGW 2200 Softswitch with Dialogic’s intelligent call control solutions

Parsippany, NJ August 13, 2015: Dialogic, a global networking software and infrastructure solution provider, announced today that ADG LDI (Pvt.) Ltd, a major provider of interconnect and retail telecommunications services in Pakistan, has selected the Dialogic® ControlSwitch™ System softswitch, and Dialogic® I-Gate® 4000 EDGE Media Gateways to support its domestic and international interconnection voice transport services.

ADG LDI (Private Limited) will be replacing its end-of-life Cisco PGW 2200 Softswitch with a state-of-the-art, fully redundant solution supplied by Dialogic, consisting of both the ControlSwitch System and I-Gate 4000 EDGE Media Gateways.

“We selected Dialogic because its products and services will allow us to replace our legacy Cisco switching technology with minimal network disruption, and seamless interworking with our deployed base of Cisco AS5400XM Universal Gateways,” said Muhammad Usman Hassan, Chief Operating Officer at ADG. “We were impressed with Dialogic’s solid track record, its depth of experience with replacing legacy switching technology, and the level of support it provides; and we look forward to both CAPEX and OPEX savings that will help us stay competitive and continue to offer high quality voice interconnect solutions to our customers.”

Dialogic’s IMS-ready intelligent call control and signaling solutions have been deployed by service providers around the globe looking to replace their legacy end-of-life class 4 switching, signaling transfer point (STP), and media gateway platforms. Dialogic’s ControlSwitch System and I-Gate 4000 EDGE Media Gateways provide ADG LDI with a scalable solution to handle the millions of minutes of TDM and IP voice traffic that it’s delivering to its customers each day.

“Dialogic’s ControlSwitch System and I-Gate 4000 EDGE Media Gateways are open platforms that enable service providers looking to replace their end-of-life infrastructure with a cost-effective and supported solution that can help effectively manage CAPEX and OPEX as they transition to next generation IP and IMS networks. We’re excited to help ADG LDI transition to the latest technology to continue to offer its international and domestic customers high quality and highly reliable wholesale services,” said Jim Machi, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Product Management at Dialogic.
