Interconnection Facility

An Interconnection Facility, sometimes called a Data Center Interconnection, is a means of connecting communications services between multiple locations. An interconnect facility may include network control and administrative circuits as well as the primary traffic circuits.

Interconnection providers offer the benefit of a direct, physical contact point between servers, providers, and customers.
