International Mobile Subscriber Identity (IMSI)

International Mobile Subscriber Identity (IMSI) is a smartphone’s identifier typically provisioned in the subscriber identification module (SIM) which is an integrated circuit that securely stores the IMSI and the related key used to identify and authenticate subscribers on mobile telephony devices.

The IMSI consists of the Mobile Subscribers Indentification Number (MSIN), Mobile Country Code (MNC) and Mobile Network Code (MNC).
