Multiple Input Single Output (MISO)

MISO is a smart antenna technology that uses multiple transmitters and a single receiver on a wireless device to improve the transmission distances.

MISO technology can be applied in areas such as Digital Television (DTV), Wireless Local Area Networks (WLANs), Metropolitan Area Networks (MANs), and mobile communications. The implementation of MISO would include multiple atennas at the source (transmitter), and the destination (receiver) only has one antenna. The antennas are combined to minimize errors and optimize data speed.
