Contents of NaturalAccess ================================================================================ NaturalAccess 9.0 for Windows contains the following products: CT Access 4.23 OAM 1.24 CAS 2.36 ISDN 1.99 NaturalFax 4.31 NaturalConference 2.22 Fusion 4.59 DLCP 1.22 NMSLM 2.27 NCCSIP 2.01 SPACCESS 1.21 (SAI) Each Natural Access product now includes a module identification signature file (*.sgn). A pair of utilities, installed by the Natural Access package, use the signature files to provide version information about product modules (files). Product Compatibility ================================================================================ All products contained in NaturalAccess are fully compatible with each other. Product compatibility and dependency checking for the products is part of the NaturalAccess installation procedure. You will be informed of known dependencies and incompatibilities during the NaturalAccess installation process. This release of NaturalAccess supports the following operating systems only: Windows Server 2008 Enterprise, SP2 for 32 bit Windows Server 2008 Enterprise SP2 for 64 bit RHEL5.3 32-bit (Update 3 released on 1/19/09), Kernel - 2.6.18-128 PAE, NonPAE RHEL 5.3 64-bit compatibility mode, Kernel - 2.6.18-128 Solaris 10 (5/09) SPARC 64 bit and compatibility mode Solaris 10 (5/09) Intel 32 bit There is no support for Windows NT, XP, Windows Server 2003, or Vista with NaturalAccess 9.0. ================================================================================ 3. Installation Overview ================================================================================ Refer to the installation booklet for detailed installation instructions. ================================================================================ 3.1. Dialogic Products ================================================================================ The installation program prompts you for system environment information so it can determine the applicable Dialogic products for your system. It then launches the individual installation programs for each of these products using the information specified. ================================================================================ 4. Installation Specifications ================================================================================ Only one installation cycle is required to install all the applicable products for your system. The (base_install_dir)\install.log file contains a record of all the NaturalAccess product installations. ================================================================================ 4.1. The evrc_convert utility converts raw EVRC files to EDTX file formats and vice versa. Type evrc_convert -h for the list of options. The natprtest utility has been updated to accept the new EVRC codec ids. - DTMF parameter control added to Fusion encoders - ISDN: Q.Sig Transfer (path replacement) support added ================================================================================ 6.3. There is a trade-off between the maximum number of boards and the maximum number of contexts per board. The board limit was reduced in July 2006 beginning with NaturalAccess 2005-1 SP2, to accommodate a higher number of contexts per board. - NCCSIP server fails to exit when running as a forground process (windows 32 and 64 bit). running the NCCSIP as windows service works fine. - isdndemo (ACU layer demo) exits after call being connected (windows 32 and 64 bit). - nfxsend (Natural Fax demo) fails after fax send completion (windows 32 bit only). ================================================================================
