Dialogic Gateway Created for Office Communications Server 2007
Typical of the close alliance between Dialogic and Microsoft for UC is the Dialogic® 4000 Media Gateway Series (DMG4000 Gateways). DMG4000 Gateways are designed to deliver both VoIP gateway functionality and assume the role of Mediation Server, which is Microsoft's technology for PSTN and PBX interoperability, high-fidelity VoIP, and security. Mediation Server software is integrated into the DMG4000 Gateways to keep the number of devices needed to a minimum and to reduce hardware maintenance.
Major Airport Connects to Exchange Server 2007 with Dialogic® Gateways
Vienna International Airport, one of the busiest in Europe, successfully deployed unified messaging by using gateways from the Dialogic® 2000 Gateway Series (DMG2000 Gateways) to connect the Exchange Server's VoIP functionality to the airport's legacy phone equipment. The gateways "fit perfectly" into the new system, and now over 600 mailboxes used by busy airport staff have wireless access and Microsoft® Outlook® functions can be controlled via the telephone.
