Innovator Award Contest Winners Announced

Recently it was my pleasure to join the distinguished panel of judges that chose the most exciting new applications submitted to our Dialogic Innovator Award Contest for well-deserved recognition. We judges were very impressed with the creative ways that developers around the world are using Dialogic® products, especially in mobile video applications.

And the winners are:

  • Grand Prize - Almira Labs (Madrid, Spain) for "Video Notes" and "Community Video Cast" 
  • Runner-Up - CreaLog (Munich, Germany) for "Cabfish"
  • Honorable Mention - Bay Talkitec (Chennai, India) for its Mobile Video "Yellow Pages"; Calltech (Bogota, Colombia) for its Click-to-Call Facebook application; EGTEK (Seoul, Korea) for its "Love Meter"

Video Highlighted in New HMP Release and Demo Portal
Dialogic® Host Media Processing Software Release 4.1LIN provides important new video features in its latest release, including video transcoding (MPEG-4 and H.263 - H.264 planned for Q1'10), video transrating, video conferencing, and 3G-324M (with MONA and WNSRP) for video-enabled mobile applications. Project DiaStarTM, an open-source project sponsored by Dialogic, recently released a new beta version of the DiaStarTM Server (v1.1), which includes video capabilities.
