MTNL Chooses Dialogic Partners’ Mobile Video Solutions
By Jyoti Handa, Dialogic Regional Manager, India The mobile market in India is very exciting right now, and I am pleased to report that Dialogic® technology is very much a part of that excitement. Recently, Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd (MTNL), one of India's largest mobile operators, chose solutions by our partners, Spice Digital and Baytalkitec, as part of the MTNL portfolio of 3G mobile video value-added service offerings. Spice Digital is streaming live religious services and Bollywood content to mobile phones and is including a video avatar capability. Baytalkitec is providing video conferencing, video portals, and YouTube uploads. Dialogic® Host Media Processing Software Release 4.1LIN and the Dialogic® VisionTM CX Video Gateway enable these solutions. Thanks to Dialogic technology, and the ingenuity of Spice Digital and Baytalkitec, these successful 3G mobile video solutions were able to "go live" very quickly, and more are planned in the near future. For more details, see our recent press release.
