Dialogic Heralds New Mobile Video Developments at CommunicAsia 2008 Event

Showcases Innovative Mobile Applications Built on Dialogic HMP Software, Including Video Social Networking Service from Nano Equipment and Oasis Systems

SINGAPORE, June 16, 2008 - Dialogic Corporation ("Dialogic"), a global provider of world-class media and signal processing products and technologies, recently participated in CommunicAsia 2008, where several new, innovative applications for the Asia Pacific region were showcased at the Dialogic booth, including applications from APEX Voice Communications, Bay Talkitec, Cellebrum, Envox Worldwide, INOVA Venture, MESSAGEmanager and Telogic. Among the highlights was a groundbreaking 3G video-based social-networking service developed by Nano Equipment Pte Ltd. and Oasis Systems Inc.

A video call-based social-networking service, the Asia Video Club is designed to make it easier for people to meet, interact and socialize using their video phones, as people can connect to and use the service by dialing a local access number. Each user is allocated a personal video portal on which the user can record his/her own profile videos and video blogs online. Through the personal profile videos and blogs, club users can get to know each other, make friends, send and receive private video chat messages and form communities.

According to Liew Kong Nam, managing director of Singapore-based Nano Equipment, "Video call rates, measured in minutes, are much lower in our region than mobile data rates and the cost of video phones is going down here, while the number of 3G subscribers is going up. We are convinced that the demand for mobile video services will grow rapidly once customers are made aware of the possibilities, especially in countries where mobile phones are an important source of entertainment."

Created using Oasis Systems' field-proven VoiceXML platform, 3G Video Gateway and Video and Voice Media Server, the Asia Video Club service in one of the many innovative interactive video solutions and applications that are providing new forms of mobile interactivity.
