Dialogic Executive to Speak on Asterisk at ClueCon 2008
Presentation to Address the Future of the Proprietary Communications Industry
WHO: Jeff Dworkin, enterprise marketing manager of Dialogic Corporation, is a recognized pioneer in the voice processing and Internet telephony industries. He co-founded Interface Alternative (later renamed iFace.com) in 1992 and implemented some of the first commercial-grade IVR systems including Speech Recognition, Speaker Verification and Text-To-Speech systems for use in the banking, transportation, retail, health care services, and entertainment industries. The software architecture created by iFace.com still serves as the technological centerpiece of telco operations in many diverse countries including the United States, Korea, Syria and Palestine.
WHAT: Commoditization at the core has caused many companies to make the move to open source and, ultimately, to Asterisk. With the current trend of computing converging on communication, Asterisk's ability to deliver new services is notable. Jeff Dworkin's session, "Building on the Promise of Asterisk," will discuss how Asterisk has revolutionized the world of proprietary communications by offering unheard-of flexibility - empowering developers and integrators to create advanced communication solutions - and what this means for the future of the industry. It will also explore the benefits of developing on specific platforms that take advantage of advanced media processing and signaling technologies and their crucial role in enabling Asterisk's success.
WHERE: Hilton Garden Inn

WHEN: ClueCon Telephony Developer Conference 2008 will take place from August 5-7, 2008. Dworkin's session will be held on Thursday, August 7th from 2:30 - 3:00 p.m.
