Dialogic Executives to Speak on Key Industry Trends at Spring VON 2008
Presentations will Highlight Hosted Media, VoIP Security and Flexible Platforms for Voice SolutionsWHO: Brian Peebles, chief technology officer of Dialogic Corporation, has helped pioneer numerous technologies such as radio direction finding, speech recognition, massively parallel computing, network processing, WiMAX and microprocessor acceleration. Martyn Davies, principal consultant at Dialogic, is a specialist in APIs and VoIP telephony software integration. Jeff Dworkin, Dialogic enterprise marketing manager, is a recognized pioneer in the voice processing and Internet telephony industries. WHAT: Brian Peebles will participate in the Voice on the Net track session "Redefining Hosted Media" covering the metrics and rules in making the choice to build an application on a service-based host. Martyn Davies will be moderating the Wireless Mobility track session "VoIP Security: Threats, Attacks, Vulnerabilities and Countermeasures," which will discuss threats and attacks that are applicable to enterprise and carrier VoIP networks and provide effective countermeasures to consider when deploying these networks, and will also serve as a panelist in the Voice on the Net track session "Security." Jeff Dworkin will be participating in the "Flexible Platforms to Enable Voice Solutions" panel taking place at the co-located Digium Asterisk World, exploring development criteria on a specific platform to take advantage of Asterisk. Peebles' session will be held on Thursday, March 20 from 9:00 am - 10:15 am; Davies' Wireless Mobility track session will take place on Thursday, March 20 from 1:30 pm - 2:45 pm with the Voice on the Net track session occurring on Thursday, March 20 from 3:00 pm - 4:15 pm and Dworkin's Digium Asterisk World presentation will be held on Wednesday, March 19 from 2:00 pm - 3:15 pm.
