If you order E1-PRI service from the telephone company or PBX vendor, give the representative the following information:

Dialogic® Brooktrout® TR1034+PxH-E1 Fax Board (where 'x' denotes the number of channels active on the card, i.e. 8, 10, 16, 20, 30)
Type of line:
Primary Rate, also known as PRI, PRA, E1, S2m, T2, ISDN30e
Signal protocol/Variant:
EuroISDN, also known as CTR-3, DSS1, Q.931, I.421, ETSI;
not
1TR6, DASS2 or DPNSS
Clock Master/ Emulation:
The network side should be configured as an "NT", and the clock should be provided

Preferably, you want layers 1 and 2 kept active
