S50, S51, and S52 Eiconcard Installation
The Eiconcard S5x ranges are legacy products, and are not PnP aware.
Therefore Windows 2000 will not auto-detect these cards. The following
installation was carried out using an S51 card.
Install the card by taking the following steps:
1. Open 'System Properties' and start the 'Hardware Wizard'.
2. Select Add/Troubleshoot a device and click the 'Next' button.

3. Windows 2000 will search for PnP devices.

4. Select 'Add a new device'.

5. Choose to select the hardware from a list.

6. Select 'Network Adapters'.

7. Select 'Eicon Technology' and 'Eiconcard S51'.

8. Complete the installation and click 'Finish'.

The S51 card will appear as a 'Network Adapter' entry in Device Manager.

Using the WAN Services Configuration Program
Step1. Start the Eiconcard configuration program by any of the following
methods:
- Running ECADMIN at a command prompt (use full path of <drive:>\winnt\system32\eicon)
- From Start > Programs > Eicon > Eicon Cards > Eicon
Configuration Program
- From advanced properties of the Eiconcard in Device Manager
After loading you will see:
Step 2. Configure the Eiconcard adapter options according to your requirements.
Then click on a card icon to show high level protocols and ports.
Step 3. Configure the high level protocols as required.
NOTE: Generally these values should not be modified unless your specific
application gives instructions to do so.
Step 4. Configure each of the ports as required.
Step 5. After finishing configuring all the ports, select the "Save"
option form the File menu and then "Exit" to complete the Core
Services Configuration.
