Using the Diva DtectPCI utility
How to collect information about installed PCI cards with dtectpci.exe
Dtectpci.exe is a tool which collects information about all PCI bus components and cards installed on the system.
It can be especially useful for problems encountered during or after the installation of the drivers, and it works for
the whole range of PCI-based Diva Client cards (thus excluding Diva ISDN USB).
For example, if there is a hardware or resource conflict, a dtectpci output file can help to clarify whether a
particular card has been properly detected, or if the required hardware resources have been allocated.
It can also help to detect issues related to BIOS settings.
It is not necessary to install the Diva Client driver software in order to make use of this utility.
Simply download the two files DiPciDmp.sys and DtectPCI.exe from our FTP server
Open a DOS box (or 'command' prompt), change to the directory where you saved the downloaded files (e.g. C:\) and type in the following command:
dtectpci > pci_scan.txt
After you press ENTER, dtectpci will write information to an output file (e.g. pci_scan.txt).
Here is a screenshot of what this should look like in a DOS prompt.

Here is an example what the content of the output file should look like for a Diva Client Card:
Bus 0 Slot 15.0: 'Eicon Networks Corporation' Dev 0xe00b Rev 0 0x0000 33 11 0B E0 06 00 90 02 00 00 80 02 00 00 00 00 0x0010 00 00 00 42 00 00 10 42 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 0x0020 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 A0 02 00 00 33 11 0B E0 0x0030 00 00 00 00 40 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 0B 01 00 00 Class - Other Network Controller Command - PCI_ENABLE_MEMORY_SPACE Command - PCI_ENABLE_BUS_MASTER Status - PCI_STATUS_CAPABILITIES_LIST Status - PCI_STATUS_FAST_BACK_TO_BACK MEM Addr - 0x42000000 (locate in 32 bit address space) MEM Addr - 0x42100000 (locate in 32 bit address space) CIS Ptr - 0x000002A0 SubVendor - 0x1133 SubSystem - 0xE00B Interrupt - 0x0B / INTA
Please note that the dtectpci output file will also contain further information about other PCI bus components/parts, depending on what is installed in the machine.
