How to activate a Dialogic Diva Media Board Features license
Introduction
This article explains how to add license features such as Fax or Modem to a Dialogic® Diva® Media Board.
Before you start, you will need to obtain a PPC (Proof of Purchase Code) from your Dialogic distributor or sales contact. A PPC is a code that represents the right to activate a license with a specific set of resources and is provided with each purchase of the desired number of resources.
Activation of the license
On the system that has the Diva Media Board installed, go to Start -> All Programs -> Dialogic Diva -> Configuration Manager.
Select Tools ->License Manager.
Click on ‘Available DUIDs on this system’ in the left-hand pane, then select the Dialogic Diva ‘Board Features’ line in the right-hand pane.
Click on Copy DUID to clipboard and paste the DUID temporarily to a text file.
Go to http://www.dialogic.com/activate
Enter the PPC provided by your Dialogic distributor or sales contact (starting with DSBF) and click on Check
Enter the DUID you saved into the DUID field above. Also, enter your email address and a comment to help identify the license, if required.
Then click Activate and Download to download the license immediately. This option will also send a copy of the license to the email address you supplied.
On the system that has the Diva Media board installed, in the Diva Configuration Manager, select Tools -> License Manager, then click on Add License. Navigate to where you had saved the license file, select the license file and click Open. The license file will be added to the License Manager and the new feature is ready to use.
