Installing Dialogic® Gate Control Element Management System under Windows Vista

Symptom:

Windows Vista® reports the following error when installing the Dialogic® Gate Control Element Management System (GCEMS) software as root or Admin.



Workaround:
Right click on the file IMGUserInterface10.xx.xx.xxx.exe

Select 'Properties' > 'Compatibility' tab.
 
Check 'Run this program in compatibility mode' and select 'Windows XP (Service Pack 2)' as below:




Then run IMGUserInterface10.xx.xx.xxx.exe.

Proceed to install the GCEMS software as for Windows XP, described in the IMG 1010 Web help.
