1. Go to the Dialogic activation website at the following link:
http://www.dialogic.com/activation
Note: Use the buttons on the screens to navigate. Do not use the Back and Forward buttons on your browser to navigate.
The following screen appears:
2. Enter your license key, and click ‘Submit’.
NOTE: The license key is the LAC (License Access Code) emailed to you when you purchased/obtained the license file.

'Re-host Licenses' button. The following screen appears:
4. Click to select your product and then click Return, to return the license to Dialogic.
This must be done before you can obtain the new Re-hosted license.

5. In the Select Product box, click the product which you are re-hosting.
Select the Node ID Type and enter the Node ID of your IP Media Server as it appears from the Web UI of the IP Media Server.
Then click
'Generate License'. The following screen appears:
6. Verify that the information is correct and click Confirm.
Be sure you enter the correct Node ID. If you enter an incorrect Node ID, your license will be invalid when you try to use it on your Media Server.

7. Click '
Save to File' to save the license file to your computer (there is also an option to have the license file emailed to you instead).

8. Click Save and save the file in a convenient directory on your computer.
9. You will see a message indicating that the download has completed and the file is saved.
10. Install the license file on your Media Server (Refer to the Installing a License File on your System in the Media Server Installation and Operations Guide) or copy it ‘as is’ into the following directory of your Media Server:
/opt/snowshore/license
Please make sure the file has “read” permission.
FAQS:
Q: How many times can you re-host a license?
A: You can re-host a license up to 2 times. After that the re-host process will fail and you will need to contact your Dialogic Account Representative to obtain a new license.
Q: Is there a way to find the LAC (License Access Code) from an existing license file?
A: Yes, open the current license .lic file in a text editor, such as WordPad, and the LAC value is listed within the SN= string section, after the 2nd dash ‘-‘ .

Q: Is there a way to tell what the existing Node ID the current license .lic file is hosted for?
A: Yes, open the current license .lic file in a text editor, such as WordPad, and the Node ID is listed after the HOSTID=VID= string.

Q: Is there a way to tell the number of resources that a license has been enabled for?
A: Yes, open the current license .lic file in a text editor, such as WordPad, and the number of available resources is listed after the VENDOR_STRING= section. See the Example below.
