Bandwidth
The amount of data a connection is able to carry. Typically used to describe network capacity. For digital connections bandwidth is often measured in megabit per second (Mbit/s). The higher the bandwidth, the higher the amount of data that is able to travel through the network connection within a given time. A web page full of graphics may, due to its possibly large file size, require plenty of bandwidth in order to load fast.
