How to restrict VPN Client users' access to your LAN through Safepipe's firewall

Data traffic from remote clients is regarded by Safepipe as internal data traffic, even though the users of such services in fact access your LAN from the public side of Safepipe. By default, users of the VPN Client have unlimited access to your LAN, but they can be filtered through the firewall, and restricted either groupwise (by using the client subnet feature) or individually.

Below are three examples of restrictions that can be put on VPN Client users:

• Denying remote client access to a local subnet

• Restricting remote client access to only one IP address

• Restricting individual remote client access to only one subnet
