The five default firewall rules, which have been preconfigured on Safepipe, basically secure your LAN from being accessed from the Internet while at the same time providing the users of your LAN unlimited access to services on the Internet. However, you may need to configure additional firewall rules if, for instance, you want to put restrictions on the access to the Internet from your LAN.

Below are three examples of restrictions that can be put on the users of your LAN in this respect:
