Printer-friendly versionHow to reset Windows 2000's native client

Introduction

If you have previously configured Windows 2000's native client to establish a VPN connection between the Windows 2000 PC and a Safepipe, and you now, for example, wish to use Eicon VPN Client instead, you should reset the Windows 2000 native client.

This guide will take you through the following procedures:

  1. Deleting all certificates related to the VPN connection.
  2. Deleting all IP security policy settings related to the VPN connection.

Prerequisites

  • You must be logged on as a user with administrator rights.
