The objective of the course is to provide attendees with the tools, methodologies and knowledge to install, configure and begin developing applications that use Dialogic® IP Media Server. This course will cover a wide variety of important and helpful topics and areas related to the Dialogic IP Media Server including:

• Complete system installation and verification using the Field Install Guide & Installation Checklist
• Use of the web interface to configure the IP Media Server
• Architecture of the IP Media Server
• SIP call flows involving an application server
• Service Creation Development 3^rd party tools

Prerequisites

This workshop requires that the attendee has downloaded the demo version of the Dialogic® IP Media Server as well as experience installing Linux Operating Systems (Red Hat) and knowledge of network configurations, SIP, TCP/UDP and VoIP.
