Configuring a T1 or E1 Bearer Span (Software 10.3.x)

Steps

1. Right Click on the IMG Name: xxx ID:0 and select New Facility. A Facility Pane will appear. This is a monitoring object in ClientView and no configuration is needed.

2. Right-click Facility and select New TDM DS1. A ClientView Pane like below will appear.

• Trunk Type: This is automatically populated with the Trunk Type that your IMG is configured for. (T1 or E1)

• Component ID: Select from a drop down menu whether this span will be on a Bearer Span or a Signaling Span.

• Interface ID: Select from a drop down menu the span you would like to configure. This field will automatically populate the next available span

3. Once all selections have been made commit this object.
