This file does not contain information on the Eiconcard Connection for
Linux software that is included on the Universal Connections Suite
CD-ROM. For information on Eiconcard Connections for Linux, consult
README_LINUX.TXT.



Getting Started
========================================================================

Step 1: Install the Eiconcard
-----------------------------
For instructions on how to install the Eiconcard into your computer,
consult the Eiconcard_booklet.pdf file in the root of the Eiconcard
Universal Connections Suite CD-ROM.

Step 2: Install the Eiconcard Connections software
--------------------------------------------------
Before you can use your Eiconcard, you must install the Eiconcard
Connections software on your computer. The remainder of this document
provides information about the location of Eiconcard Connections
software and help files on the Eiconcard Universal Connections Suite
CD-ROM.


Eiconcard Connections for Windows
========================================================================
The Eiconcard Connections for Windows software and documentation
are located in the following folders on the CD:

	Windows\W2000_XP_2003\x64 (for supported 64 bit OSs)
	Windows\W2000_XP_2003\x86 (for supported 32 bit OSs)


Before you install the software consult "Readme_s.txt" (located in both
the x64 and x86 folders), for important information and known
limitations.

For information on how to install Eiconcard Connections for Windows,
consult the Quickstart (Quick.pdf) located in both the x64 and x86
folders.


For information on how to configure and use Eiconcard Connections for
Windows, consult ecguide.chm, which is copied to your hard disk during
installation. It is accessible from the Windows Start menu after the
installation is complete.
