Dialogic to Present on “Solving the Mobile Backhaul Congestion Challenge” at Mobile Backhaul India

Tuesday, August 14, 2012

New Delhi, India – August 14, 2012 Dialogic Inc. (NASDAQ: DLGC), a leading provider of communications technologies that enable operators to provide – and subscribers to enjoy – an enhanced mobile experience, today announced that Neil Weldon, Director of Technology, will be presenting at the 2nd Mobile Backhaul India show in New Delhi, India on August 24. Due to the continuing proliferation of smart devices worldwide, operators are looking to alleviate the network congestion caused by the rapid increase in data use by subscribers. At the show, Mr. Weldon will explore key strategies that operators can implement in their quest to cost-effectively optimize backhaul and expand the capacity of their networks.

Dialogic is committed to offering versatile bandwidth optimization solutions in the Asian region and around the world with its range of Dialogic® I-Gate® Session Bandwidth Optimizers, which can cost-effectively optimize network traffic and reduce bandwidth requirements. Part of the product line is the Dialogic® I-Gate® 4000 Session Bandwidth Optimizer Mobile Backhaul (I-Gate 4000 SBO MB) which is a standalone system that can optimize bandwidth and increase bandwidth capacity significantly in the backhaul segments of both 2G and 3G mobile networks. The Dialogic® I-Gate® 4000 Session Bandwidth Optimizer Core X (I-Gate 4000 SBO-CX) is also a standalone system that’s designed to deliver a large reduction in the bandwidth requirements and the traffic load (packets per second) for VoIP, Nb, or luCS traffic, allowing for significant CAPEX and OPEX savings opportunities.

“We’re excited to participate in this show in India. Network Congestion is a growing concern in this region as more and more people adopt smart phones and devices,” said Eamonn Kearns, Vice President of APAC Sales at Dialogic. “Our I-Gate Session Bandwidth Optimization solutions, which are currently deployed to help deliver exceptional efficiencies on the backhaul, allow operators to rollout new data services and deliver improved QoS and QoE to subscribers.”
