I am new to the telecom and dialogic devices. we are in the beginning stage of a new mobile project. It is based on USSD. Now mobile service providers are ready to give SS7 E1 line to my company, and I want to configure a USSD gateway server in my premise. Now the question is, what are the hardwares I need to pruchase/Install for making it working. I want to integrate it to my java/oracle servers also.

The simpliest for you would be to use the SWS

The second option, maybe cheaper but more complex to deploy is to used a board

Now if I am using the SPCI SS7 card/SWS server, then what will be the limitation on the distance between MSC and USSD gateway? I mean if I am taking the signalling channel (through an E1) from SP to my office which is around 20 km apart, whether there will be any issues?
