SCTP Abort while using M3UA

    Hi,

    I am trying to connect to an SG using Dialogic Sigtran and the below mentioned configuration.However the local stack sends SCTP ABORT after INIT , which can be seen in the wireshark trace. The output of gctload shows repeated ASSOCIATION UP and ASSOCIATION DOWN messages.

    Corresponding pcap file is also attached.

    Is there anything wrong in the configuration i am using?

  •  Try to validate whether the kernels SCTP is running on your system or not.

    modprobe -r sctp

     

     

  • Try the following:

    modprobe -r sctp

    If modprobe -r sctp provides a response like

    FATAL: Module sctp is in use.

    Then it means that SCTP kernel implemention is running.

    Reboot and start gctload or use SCTPn.

    Furthermore, you can run modprobe sctp before starting gctload.
