Hello. I am about to try a SS7HDE card in a Dell PowerEdge R710 that is running Windows Server 2008, 64-bit.

It seems that the card is reset properly and the program SS7.DC4 be downloaded but will not start. After a short delay occurs timeout in S7_MGT and any further loading and initialization ends.

In my attempts to solve the problem, I commented out much of the config.txt and currently has just left the line
SS7_BOARD  0 SS7HDE 0x0043  SS7.DC4  MTP2-L

I have a license key labeled BF and it should allow that I drive all the protocol stacks on the card but there will be no difference if I write MTP2 or INAP-L.

My previous experience with Dialogic cards are from the type SPCI4 and where it was important to start driver SEPTEL but it seems not to work the same way with SS7HDE.

Could it be a hardware failure on the card, although the software seems to find it and start download the driver?
