We are using Dialogic HMP 3.0 with windows, and having an issue with barge in sensitivity, it is too sensitive.
We ran a test using the "CSPDemo.exe" application and using the following commands, we did not discern a difference for barge in functionality.
cspdemo.exe -b -e -p2 -t-53cspdemo.exe -b -e -p2 -t3
Any suggestions or feed back would be appreciated
Were you seeing an issue with your own application in this case first?
And then decided to use the demo for test purposes?
Or did you just run the demo?
I have done testing with this in the past in my own application and resent some RTP streams across the network different levels audio like 20, 30, 40 db and was able to make distinctions with respect to VAD levels. So maybe something in the background or noise is contributing to the issue.
Were you calling in from SIP phone, or something else (pstn) and routed thru the network? Just curious.
Yes, we were seeing this issue in our application deployments. We initially thought changing the barge-in sensitivity was working, but as more complaints came in, and through additional testing, we found that the settings seemed to have no impact. We found the demo app, and after running it, seeing no change in sensitivity, we posted this question.
Testing was done to a client platform using a SIP trunk, just called it via cell/office phones.
Ok, figured that might be the case. Overall, I suspect the best action in this case would be to open up a support case with the services team at dialogic for this be to looked at further. If you are unsure about how to get support review the following page for options:
