Network Access Identifier (NAI)

The NAI is used to identify a mobile user or terminal, regardless of the user's current location and how many IP addresses the terminal may have.

The NAI takes the form of username@realm, with the username identifying the terminal and the realm identifying the Internet domain of a Network Access Server (see NAS).
