DS0 loopback connections reverse the direction in which voice data flows when the data reaches a DS0 endpoint. Applications use the Switching service to switch the DS0 endpoint's output stream to its input stream and reverse the flow of data back to the connection's RTP IPv4 or IPv6 endpoint.
