This section describes the various video characteristics supported by the VisionVideo QCS.
The following input video file formats and containers are supported:
MPEG-4 Part 14 (MP4) file containing H.264 video or MPEG-2 progressive video
MPEG-2 Transport Stream file containing H.264 video or MPEG-2 video
Raw H.264 Annex-B bitstream file
Other video file characteristics supported include:
H.264:
Baseline, main, and high profile
Resolution up to 1920x1080
MPEG-2:
Simple, main, and high profile
Resolution up to 1920x1080
Input video file size up to 50 GB
Input video file duration up to 13 hours
Input video file frame rate up to 30 fps
Frame cropping:
Frame cropping on the right, 7 pixels or less
Frame cropping on the bottom, 3 pixels or less for frame coding and 7 pixels or less for field coding
The following video formats are not currently supported by the VisionVideo QCS:
MPEG-2 transport stream files containing multiple access units inside one Packetized Elementary Stream (PES) packet
MPEG-4 Part 14 (MP4) file containing interlaced video
For H.264 video:
Arbitrary Slice Ordering (ASO)
Flexible Macroblock Ordering (FMO)
Macroblock Frame Field (MBAFF) coding
