Note: Only Administrators have access to the CLOCK command.
The system has an internal clock, but it can also be configured to source its clock from a network time protocol (NTP) server.
If NTP is enabled, the system immediately starts using the NTP server.
If NTP is not enabled, you can set the current system time, date, and time zone.
Note: The use of an NTP server across all servers in your network is strongly recommended, as it ensures that time and date stamps will be consistent and comparable across the network. This helps considerably when troubleshooting the PowerMedia WMS.
To configure an NTP server:
Select CLOCK from the System menu to display the Clock page.
Check Enable NTP.
Enter the IP address of one or more NTP servers.
Note that you can configure up to three
NTP servers.
Click OK to apply any changes. To cancel changes, click CANCEL.
