Introduction

Once you have installed a license, you can use the Web UI to get information about it and to manipulate the license file.

If you remove or add network boards to your system or change your motherboard, the license files become invalid. This is due to the method used to generate the Node ID (see Obtaining the Node ID from Your System. In order to re-activate the product, you need to re-host the licenses (see Re-Hosting (Moving) License Files for the PowerMedia WMS.

Note: If you remove the PowerMedia WMS files using the uninstall option, license files are removed with the PowerMedia WMS. If you perform a PowerMedia WMS update, the files are not removed.
