WebRTC and Cloud Communications Developer Workshop

WebRTC and cloud communications are enabling a vast range of new and innovative applications that are blending traditional Enterprise web applications with Telecommunications.

By attending this one-day hands-on tutorial workshop, attendees will learn to develop cloud communications applications utilizing voice, video, SMS and WebRTC using an easy to use drag-and-drop development environment, a popular high-level mark-up language and communications APIs.

Building on this knowledge, attendees will also gain an understanding of mobile clients and mobile SDKs that support both Apple iOS and Android. Coursework materials include a number of supplied sample applications and plenty of lab time with instructor support, giving attendees an opportunity to turn their own ideas into working applications.

The conclusion of the workshop will feature a "micro-hack", allowing students to show off their applications and earn some fun graduation prizes!

His responsibilities include strategic planning, creation and transfer of best practices, technology development, services and operations across the entire organization. With an extensive background in networking, telecommunications and IT, Michael brings together a blend of instructional and technical skills. Michael holds a patent on operating system and application performance tuning and is widely recognized for his expertise.

Vince Puglia, Developer Advocate at Dialogic

Vince has global responsibility for creating and driving the success of the industry leading and award-winning software based media server PowerMedia XMS with traditional telephony and web developers. Vince has been at the center of the communication industry for over 10 years with hands on experience integrating with large enterprises and tier-1 service providers. Currently, Vince focuses on leading edge technologies including WebRTC, Network Function Virtualization (NFV) and Cloud Communications. He has held positions in the past including Application Engineer and Sales Engineer where he worked with telecom elements to include session border controllers (SBC), media gateways, media and network interface boards, and fax.
