Product Discontinuance Alert

Discontinuance for Dialogic® Host Media Processing Release 2.0 for Windows® was announced on September 7, 2007. Dialogic plans to address defects in the Discontinued Release that are reported prior to December 31, 2008 in a final Service Update. It is expected that this final Service Update will be released in February 2009. Please note that only the following limited support will be provided on the Discontinued Release between January 1, 2009 through March 1, 2009: For issues reported, a new Case number will be opened, initial investigation will be performed, effort will be applied to identify if the issue has been resolved in Dialogic ® Host Media Processing (HMP) Software for Windows R 3.0 (“Migration Release”) and/or to provide a workaround to resolve the issue, if possible.

During the period from January 1, 2009 through March 1, 2009, no new defects will be entered on this Release. Any issues reported against this Product after January 1, 2009 must be reproducible on an active Dialogic HMP Software Release for Windows for Dialogic to extend support. Customers are strongly encouraged to move applications to the latest Migration Release immediately.

If you have previously installed HMP 1.3 service update, you must first uninstall the HMP 1.3 SU using the standard Windows "Add/Remove Programs" utility before installing HMP 2.0.

If you have previously installed a HMP 1.1 service update, you must first uninstall the SU using the standard Windows "Add/Remove Programs" utility and then uninstall HMP 1.1 before installing HMP 2.0.
