Complete the following steps to initially install the CG 6565E board:

If necessary, configure the board as described in Configuring the hardware. |

Power down the chassis and disconnect it from the power source. |

3 |
Remove the cover and set it aside. |
|
4 |
Arrange the CG 6565E board and other H.100 boards in adjacent PCIe slots. Make sure each board's PCIe connector is seated securely in a slot. |

5 |
Secure the end bracket on the board to the chassis. |
|
6 |
If applicable, connect the H.100 bus cable to the board. If you have multiple H.100 boards, connect the H.100 bus cable to each of the H.100 boards. |

7 |
Replace the cover and connect the computer to its power source. |
