Cloud-based contact center helps one of China’s largest travel service providers meet the demands of a rapidly evolving customer service environment
Beijing, China - September 28, 2010
- Dialogic, a global provider of world-class products and technologies for multimedia and signal processing, today announced that its Dialogic® IMG 1010 Integrated Media Gateway is compliant with Voice Portal and related SIP Aura infrastructure solutions from Avaya, a leading global provider of business communications applications, systems and services.
The IMG 1010 helps businesses connect between SIP applications and subscribers on SS7, ISDN, and CAS mobile and wireline networks. The IMG 1010 now is compliance-tested by Avaya for compatibility with Avaya Voice Portal and SIP infrastructure built using Avaya AuraTM Session Manager, Avaya AuraTM Communication Manager Access Element and Avaya AuraTM Communication Manager Feature Server.
"Dialogic is very pleased to achieve DevConnect certification between our IMG 1010 and Avaya's Voice Portal application utilizing Avaya Aura network components," said Harold Klett, Vice President and General Manager of the Service Provider Market Group for Dialogic. "The market for cloud-based hosted services is accelerating and the combination of the IMG 1010 and Avaya Aura infrastructure enables enterprises utilizing such services to connect and interact with their mobile and wireline customers."
One of the companies benefiting from the interoperability of Dialogic and Avaya solutions is CTrip, a business that specializes in hosted Contact Centers.
"We are very happy with the Dialogic IMG 1010 as a connectivity solution with Avaya Aura SIP solutions," says Qiang Shen, IT technical manager of CTrip. "DevConnect compliance between Dialogic's IMG 1010 and Avaya Aura SIP infrastructure enabled us to meet tight deadlines for installation of a recent large contact center project."
Dialogic is a member of the Avaya DevConnect program-an initiative to develop, market and sell innovative third-party products that interoperate with Avaya technology and extend the value of a company's investment in its network.
As a Gold member of the program, Dialogic is eligible to submit products for compatibility testing by the Avaya Solution Interoperability and Test Lab. There, a team of Avaya engineers develops a comprehensive test plan for each application to verify whether it is Avaya compliant. Doing so ensures businesses can confidently add best-in-class capabilities to their network without having to replace their existing infrastructure-speeding deployment of new applications and reducing both network complexity and implementation costs.
"Dialogic's IMG 1010 helps partners using Avaya's Voice Portal and Aura SIP infrastructure to connect to customers on a variety of different wireless and wireline networks including those supporting SS7, ISDN and CAS protocols," said Riz Masurekar, the head of Avaya DevConnect program in APAC. "This kind of support enables Avaya to meet the needs of customers using both IP and circuit-based networks."
